Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Breaking Benjamin - So Cold - SaiKano

Post by Walker-san » Sun May 08, 2005 9:28 pm

I managed to finish this the other day after five months of picking at it every now and again.

Feedback is always nice. Even just views help me out a bit.

If you uploaded it to local storage, you also need to confirm the upload.
If you uploaded it to an off-site location, you need to manually add the link.

It's also bad form to refer to yourself with the -san prefix, but hey, what the hell -- everyone else does it.

Okay.....

1) Things have changed since I last up'd a video...in that I don't remember needing to confirm. That was about two years ago though, so I'm not surprised. Thank you for notifying me of this change, cause I probably wouldn't have figured it out. Ever.

2) Don't care if it's bad form. I've never been very honorable, and I've been known to lie and cheat to get to where I want (never steal though. stealing's bad.). But most importantly, I just do not care. I've been using the name on various boards for the past 6-7 years and this is the first time anyone's bothered to say anything. *shrugs*

3) lastly, since I had deleted the original file that I had uploaded in order to fix mistakes that had been made, I couldn't confirm it. SO I've got the new one up'd and confirmed.

In summation: I fixed it and it works now

Not bad. The concept is solid enough, but the video suffers a little because of the timing. You've got some slow sections timed to very fast cuts, and have prolonged heavy guitar sections with barely any movement. You've definitely improved since your Kanon video, but you've still got a little ways to go. Overall, a decent video.

thanks for feedback.

yea...I know a lot of sections are slow. I ran into the problem of running out of footage to use. I didn't want to reuse anything, but then what was left was stuff I didn't want to use at all.

It's interesting, though, cause the music video BB did for this song is incredibly slow paced. I only just watched it last night, and was amused by how slow it seemed to move.

once again thanks for the feedback. I enjoy hearing constructive thoughts that may help me improve in the years to come.
