Great show with a reasonable story and fun characters. I found myself slightly creeped out by the way Chii looked so young, and acted like such a child though. Hideki 'should' have been feeling much more maternal than all ero ero about her.

The manga is worth reading as well, and delves into some of the issues that the show skimmed over, like how Hideki can never consumate his relationship with her (the location of the reset switch.....) and so on.

I do agree with Zero, this is a pointless thread but I would like to add that yes, Chobits is a good anime I've read all the manga except the last volume, so I wanna see how it ends.. do think that they might have the last volume at chapters? I'm looking!

I will say that chobits is in my list of the top 5 anime series right under escaflowne. My favorite episode is when Hedike (the main character i know I didn't spell that right) hears that ghost story and thinks someone is out to get him. Man that was funny!

All i'll say is read the manga. The manga absolutly rocks whereas i felt the anime missed certain points that were needed and added parts that aren't. The manga is just amazing though and definately worth reading.

I was underwhelmed by Chobits. Loved the story, but the ending...gah, the ending. Blah. soured me on the whole thing (which is why I'm selling the manga and a DVD box on eBay.). XP.
