Blood+, the TV series

Remember Blood: the Last Vampire? Well, Production I.G. is coming up with a new TV series which looks like a bit of a continuation of the OVA (though in ANN, they said it's a prequel). So I have no idea how the two relates chronologically. ^_^'

I thought they were done with it with just the movie, the 2 games, and the manga :\

Apparently not, and anyway wouldn't it be nice to find out more about Saya and the turopterates and stuff, the movie was pretty nonsensical.

Yeah, it was a bit of a soft-cock movie, wasn't it.... it had some awesome animation, and the quality of the transfer on the DVD is pretty good, and the DVD itself looks sexy (at least the release i have

) but it was too short. It coulda been so much more, but it settled for so much less.

Yeah, the original was a tad on the short side, and the lack of underlying story which is clearly there, just keeping the auience to figure it out for themselves. While this can have artistic merit, in most cases it just comes across as frustrating.
