In answer to your questions: I read the manga and some stuff about the chapters that are out in Japan already and not here (Japan has about 15 volumes so far, while volume 9 is coming out here in June), and that's where all this happens. The TV series cuts out some of the subtle hints early in the manga about the pairing that I just mentioned, and in retrospect, a lot of Akito's reactions are more understandable (not excusable) due to the . . . true nature of Akito's being.

Here's how to do the Spoiler thing. You highlight the text you want to quote, then hit the Quote button when you're typing your reply. In the first set of quote brackets, which looks like [QUOTE], you add ="insert whoever you want to quote here", so that it looks like [QUOTE="Spoiler"]. Then you highlight your text and change it to white. You might want to preview it first before posting just to make sure you did it right.

I was pondering today and... I think I figured out the ending... well, at least this is how I would end it..:

Akito makes a deal with Kyo right? That if he can win against the mouse he'd stop calling him "monster" and he would be accepted into the family. Well, Kyo can't beat him at anything... racing, fighting, nothing. Well... there's only one thing he's beating him at and neither of them knows it... winning Tohru's heart. I think in the end Kyo will beat Yuki with Tohru falling in love with him and that will break the curse 'cause remember Akito is "God" to them and with Tohru falling in love with him when "God" said that would never happen... well, that's beating God. So... that's how I think it'll end. And Yuki will be happy for Tohru and Yuki will be happy because the curse will be broken and he can go on living completely. And everyone else will be happy etc. etc.

yea yea!! that's the whole thing!! he never even knew he won in the end!! all this time he's winning and in the end he beats yuki and dosent even know it until the curse is broken and they figure out why!! ^^[/quote]

Yeah, Rin/Isuzu's the horse. Kureno is the rooster, and he takes care of Akito. I think he might be introduced in the next English volume to come out (volume 9).
