Its sad u should have atleast 1 page of rk on the first page cmon guys. Post about rk here, fave episode, u like ova or rurouni kenshin more? stuff like that just stay on the subject which is rk.

RK was great, but I think I may like Samurai X better when I see it. I am not really into the lets name our moves stuff. Some explanation of technique is nice though, but I think the more serioius nature of X is more suited to samurai.

I find I like stories with a clear start to finish without filler episodes. Despite all of this I still like RK. Unfortunately I never was able to see all of the episodes.

Main reason RK is not on the front page, is because its been discussed before, anything and everything about it.

OT: I perfer the ova's the artwork and gore are what attracted me to this anime, apart from the fact im a samurai fanatic.

Yeah, RK rocks, but I've said all I can say about it verbally and I can't remember any of it in an eloquent way. I've only seen the version on AdultSwim so yes, I've been living in a bubblem, so to speak. When I get my own funds and can hold on to them without my beg-monkey relatives sucking me dry it'll be one of the first series that I... experience to the fullest.

There's a word for that; what is it

poor Rurouni Kenshin...such an undeserved bad reputation...i love Rurouni Kenshin and there ALWAYS should be a topic on it on the front page no matter how old! Rock on, Batosai!!!

Yea, I had posted a Samurai X: Reflections thread a while back, but for Rurouni Kenshin, I loved mostly the emotional storyline rather than the action, so it didnt get all the credit and reconition it deserves...but hey, its been all said before...

In the future, please don't post on a topic merely because you think it should be on the first page. If you have something interesting to discuss, then post about it. If not, take three seconds out of your day to search for and read the old threads about the subject, if they exist (which this topic most assuredly does).

Loved the series but as far as the OAVs go...well im not going to try and explain it because i dont remember the details. All i know is that there were some pretty hefty changes made to make it more...hmmm.. mushy i guess. Hopefully the guy who explained it to me a few months back will drop by and do better then the above opinion
