can you give us an idea of how exactly its not playing? isit a bunch of jarbled colors? is it giving a specific error? how is it behaving exactly?Liars Dice wrote:I wouldn't play in VirtualDub.Scintilla wrote:HuffYUV files are hard to play back perfectly. But if you scan through a HuffYUV file in VirtualDub and you see all the frames that are supposed to be there, then it's fine and you can compress it to DivX/XviD without a problem.

sounds to me like it didn;t finish exporting all the way, like maybe it ran out of disk space or crashed or something and didn't write the AVI header. You obviously have the codec if you are able to export to it.... Try exporting just a smnall chunk and see if that works. Also try setting the export to RGB only and checking the Suggest RGB for output flag in the codec properties window.Liars Dice wrote:I refuses to open, "not supported file" or something like that.Bakadeshi wrote:can you give us an idea of how exactly its not playing? isit a bunch of jarbled colors? is it giving a specific error? how is it behaving exactly?Liars Dice wrote:I wouldn't play in VirtualDub.Scintilla wrote:HuffYUV files are hard to play back perfectly. Did you export it to MPEG1 format or Windows Media (WMV) format?Liars Dice wrote:I refuses to open, "not supported file" or something like that.Bakadeshi wrote:can you give us an idea of how exactly its not playing? isit a bunch of jarbled colors? is it giving a specific error? how is it behaving exactly?Liars Dice wrote:I wouldn't play in VirtualDub.Scintilla wrote:HuffYUV files are hard to play back perfectly.
