what would you rather [have hits or opinions?]

Id say opinions becuse a person could watch a vid and then not curse the creator out because they cant do any better than that person. the only person who usually critisizes are hatrs or those willing to help you out or fans.

Anywho, dude, kajin, watch it with the "antisocial" comment. If you don't care what other people think, it can also mean you're an independent thinker. No need to jump to assumptions. Everyone has different reasons, s'what I was trying to get at back there to begin with.

I think opinions are very important (hits are important too), because I think that most people prefer to download videos which have many opinions, because videos with many opinions are good videos (of course videos with no opinions can be good, too).

Opinions, there's no point in having a load of downloads or hits if nobody tells you what's good or bad about your videos. :\ I mean, not everyone downloads locally so they're not always able to give a star rating, so they don't really matter much to me either.

...That and the fact it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside if I get compliments on a video X3

As far as opinions though - what interests me is really not the evaluation part of it, but more creative analysis. Marks, praises, etc. - these are all secondary. What I really like to get in my opinions is impressions, interpretations and perspectives people have of my work - because in 99.5% of the cases they're completely different from mine. There's several opinions which I particularly value because they actually made me see my own videos differently.
