Best use of Living Dead Girl I've seen is to Lain. Personally, I'd have a hard time seeing that song to anyone who wasn't really, really zombie like. Kikyo may not be the best choice, iin my opinion. However there are plenty of editing strategies out there that would allow you to create the aura of eeriness you would need to make you audience believe it. Before committing to the song, I'd do research to see if it could even be storyboarded. If it can, go ahead. If it can't, time to rethink your direction.
