AnimeNext '05 AMV Contest - "Final Cut"
This list is official, final, and complete. The following individuals have entered the AnimeNext 2005 Anime Music Video contest, and have made the final cut to be included in the final contest compilation (which includes having their video played multiple times at the convention).
We received approximately 40 videos this year. Some had to be cut both for technical problems and time constraints (as noted would most likely be the case in the official rules). Thanks to everyone for entering!
(NOTE: In the interest of fairness and "keeping-surprises-still"... we only post the credited-names of those who have made the final cut. They are listed in alphabetical order by first-letter [where appropriate, using first names instead of last names], and in no way indicate which category they will be a part of. That's for you to try and guess! All will be revealed in two weeks at the convention ^_~)

Needless to say, we have a very full contest this year. Yes, that's 31 videos you see listed. As a reminder, our categories this year are:
- TRAILER/PARODY
- DRAMA
- ACTION
- COMEDY
You're going to absolutely love the contest this year. Really. No, seriously. It's that good. We're set to have four showings of the contest, again, so you'll have plenty of chances to catch it at the convention.
And for a random statistic, approximately 53% of those who made the final cut will actually be attending the convention!
Currently in its fourth year (third of Meri & myself running the contest), AnimeNext takes place June 17th - 19th at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, New Jersey. We are ridiculously close to New York City, so if you're in the area, you're definitely going to want to come check us out.
See you in two weeks!

I think I may want to skip out of AMA and go to ANext instead -- this field of 31 editors looks extremely competitive! Very nice list.
Best of luck to everybody!

Wow
Oh wow! I made the final cut and so did Rina.
It looks like there is going to be some very nice competition but to bad I can't go. I'm just glad I made it.
Go Rina!
Sorry this is my first contest that there was actually a cut to.
Best of luck to everyone.
