OMG a 3-way tie for Honorable Mention in Action. Amazing. There are some mighty fine videos competing this year! Congratulations to everybody who participated.

Digitalex wrote: I had a wonderful time at the AMV contest and the Con in general. We were also blessed with fantastic weather. I'd like to give a HUGE thanks to you and Mike for managing the contest and panels. It certainly is a lot of work especially with all the equipment toting and unforseen issues that can pop up. Great job managing around them.
I'm glad to hear you had a good time at the con (and the weather did indeed kick ass)! We did sadly run into a lot of tech issues (tv not working at panel, bad audio in Panel II), but we hope have these problems sorted out next year, especially now that everyone is used to the new venue (of course, if they end up moving the location again, it's back to square one).

If there were any topics during the panel that you think we could have covered, but didn't, or if you feel there was any one subject that we dwelled on for too long, by all means, let us know. With the help of audience feedback, we can figure out which topics interest people, and then take those into consideration for next year.

That only draws attention more to the fact that you do complain, and shows that you would have complained if someone hadn't brought it up recently

Hee. That's how you read it. If I were still into wrestling, I'd be one of those annoying heels that nobody likes but still hangs around the company anyway.

ObContest: Again, genuine thanks and congratulations to all the entries (and the winners too)!.

I'm not familiar with wrestling in any fashion, but don't those guys you're talking about usually get their asses whipped in the ring? Seems like you fit the part more than you know.

I'm not a moderator, but I'll ask, anyway, for only discussions directly related to the AnimeNext AMV contest and its videos. Thanks.

And to think I almost entered as a "Comedy". :P

Congratulations to everyone. I wish I could have been there. :)

People really, really enjoyed your video, so I don't think it would have mattered what category it was in :). Since you weren't able to make it, I can let you know that your video had an excellent response at all the screenings I attended. :D

Thank you. Rozard can stop being the "interpreter for the humor-impaired" for me now.

ObContest: How many ballots were cast throughout the weekend? I know you mentioned some stuff about the attendance not being as big as it could have been, but still I'd think you'd have gotten a very nice amount of ballots for the contest.

I'll leave VegettoEX to explain the ballot numbers, but I was shocked when I compared it to the 200 or so of last year. It was definitely significantly less.

Congradulations to the winners!
