Otakon Submission Confirmations?

Has anybody else not received a confirmation e-mail for their Otakon video submissions? I sent it in well over 3 weeks ago (and before the deadline). I also e-mailed the coordinator about it and have yet to hear anything. Wanted to see if this was happening to anybody but me :\

The thing is, I know he received the CD since I also included somebody elses submission + entry form, and he actually did receive a confirmation e-mail.. Soooo, dunno what's going on.

Well, since it's limited to one video per entrant, maybe he didn't catch on that both CDs were from different people...so he might have just tossed your CD, thinking that it was a second entry from the same person :/

I haven't gotten a confirmation notice either, and I sent mine out a couple of weeks before the deadline.

Well, there were 3 folders on the CD, with each creator's name as the folder name, and there were 3 seperate printed entry forms. So it seems bizarre that he would pick one of the videos (I don't know if the 3rd person got one) and send them a confirmation, and not me o_o. It was actually my name and address written on the CD.

:-\ It's weird.

I received my confirmation on June 6th with no problems, and I sent mine in within a week of the deadline. n.n; *procrastinator*

Assistant Jason here again.

I just spoke with Antonio on these issues, and thought I'd post a quickie response since he is away from the computer.

AtomX:

Antonio remembers receiving all 3 of those submissions and sending e-mails on all 3. He will look into it this evening to determine why you didn't receive the e-mail.

Tsunami Jones:

Can you e-mail Antonio to let him know which video we are talking about. He will also look into that one to determine the status.

Which e-mail provider are you using? Some have rather aggressive spam filters which the confirmation e-mail might've gotten caught in.

I have my own mail provider through my web host. I don't ever really have any problems with not receiving e-mails.
