Depressing AMV

I feel that there is too much happiness in the world and I want to make a depressing AMV to redress the balance. Can anyone think of a good song?

Songs I like are 'American Pie' by Madonna, 'End of all Hope' by Nightwish, 'Mephistophele's Return' by the Tran-Siberian Orchestra and most Gilbert and Sulivan songs.

'Undertow', by Pain Of Salvation? It's metal, pretty straightforward by PoS' standards but still interesting. Sample lyrics:

Through the cleansing fire

I like its tone of raging despair and anguished suffocation.

It really is music to be miserable to.

If you want a really confusing song, try "Imagine" by A Perfect Circle. It takes an older song with a hopeful theme (by John Lennon, I think) and turns it into a complete funeral dirge. It's been used...let's see...*super searches it*...five times, which isn't too bad, considering it's APC.

Ugh, I know. And I still have an idea for it, too. So much for originality, eh? It kind of made me mad when I looked up the idea to check for originality and saw that many videos. Guess I should have gotten to it first...

Ha, it's a little mish-mash of music. I seem so depressing now. I would definitely choose "Superman" because it's both depressing and you can find a shitload of anime that will comply with it. Don't cry when you make this video. I'll be looking out for it.
