Those Who had problems with Kunicon

Post by DJKiller » Tue Jun 28, 2005 12:36 am

If you were a volunteer at Kunicon and they failed to pay your badge, or you submitted an AMV and they didn't send you a prize or whatnot let me know by PM.

Thanks.

Prizes for the AMV contest where given during the convention in Atlanta, I would need to verify for Kunicon Denver though but I am pretty sure who ever won there prizes are getting ready to be shipped.

For Denver the Certificates are being mailed out to the winners. the Winners in attendance in Atlanta received their Trophies. I dont know what your planning Chris? But I hope you dont plan to start up problems again. I think you have enough trying to run your radio station without starting another flame war between us. I settled with you peacefully, I hope it stays that way.

Haha dude I am sorry but Chaos Projects submitted it under your name as the author. So when people submit there information it has to be accurate. Sorry man I would make sure it's accurate next time.

We originally started thinking to give this uber prize and gave a Plasma screen. I got emails saying spend more money on the con and give away smaller prizes or trophies. Now we gave away Trophies. Since we still have time for this in Miami, it is better to give trophies or unknown swag given to us by vendors and other companies?

Or to spend money on other items like hard drives or flat panels or PC equipment?

I would like to know, but I think in the end that is subjective. So I guess I will ask is a gift certificate the best way to go? like one from Best Buy or NewEgg.com for PC parts?

and I ask that seriously, AMV 4000's posts [which were removed] are a bit on the harsh side, joking is fine - but we really want to do good by the AMV community so cut Michieru some slack.
