Wait, are you talking about trying to actually license anime and bring it stateside like ADV, Geneon, or Viz? That'd take a whole lots of money, and it might require a bit of cred building in order to get it off the ground. AnimEigo, for one, is still a very small licensing company, but they are still around and have some very good titles under its belt. Kimagure Orange Road and Urusei Yatsura for example.
Of course, if you're talking about "hosting" anime and showing AMVs like at an anime club...
...dude that's free!
I myself have gotten written permission from Right Stuf, ADV, Viz, and Pioneer (before they became Geneon) to show stuff at anime clubs. Some of these places have staff members who are devoted only to giving permission to show stuff at anime clubs. In fact, if you make a request, they send you FREE STUFF! Anime clubs are an anime company's bread and butter! You pimp their anime and make people want to buy it, they send you flyers, calendars, magnets, postcards, and other free swag to hock at your gatherings! Some of that stuff can be really badass!
Hope that helps.

But see, I'm basically claiming that the original post is spam because it explains nothing. That's what I'd like, a clear explenation as to what you have in mind, because nobody seems to be able to figure it out.DJ scratch-n-sniff wrote:whatever dude as far as Im conserned your post was spam cause it didnt answer anything so keep em coming.

Can you possible explain what you are attempting to do?
Are you:
planning on starting a multi-million dollar company that will liscence Anime titles to bring them to the US?
or
Show liscened anime in a group setting that may be considered public thus needing liscensing permission to charge money?
you are extememly vague and noone seems to understand what it is you're getting at here.
