lol there is no just, the point of that is that Kirika didn't want to do it. It's dumb to meddle in other ppls afairs, but she's paid for it, it's her job. If he's evil and she didn't want to kill the evil guy does that then make her evil's accomplice??- I wouldn't think about it, their's no good or evil just money on the table. Much like all that I've seen so far (ep10).

I don't want some guilt ladden pity party like most family shows are. No the lack of blood or gore doesn't NOT make this show Adult, in fact the most adult show I can think of, Now And Then Here and There, is not overly gory. Hell, Air challenges for the most adult thrown and it's not gory at ALL (well, the Angel parts...)! Vica versa, EVA could be called childish. It, even eoe imo, doesn't go far enough though it stretches the boundrys of mature and family orientated (hops over the middle marker with it's herecy so I should put it). 'Adult' is not blood and gore, adult is real situations, blood and gore has nothing to do with it other than being a simple bystandard.

So I do enjoy the ruthless killer moniker, not like it's anything new, but it's new to animation (least to me) plus Kirika's rather hot with her constant dear in the headlights expression though she's a badass and could slice you in two just by looking at you -_-. That other girl would go nowhere without Kirika.

That's one way to enjoy Noir, but it misses much of the depth. To figure out the depth of the show you need life experience - that makes it an adult show.

Oh god, a Kirika obsessed fanatic. Since you've not completed the show I can't ask you to count what Mireille has done for Kirika and what Kirika for Mireille. It would end up at least with a tie, if not "Advantage: Mireille". I have to confess, after watching Noir the first time I was the same obsessed with Kirika. I needed to watch it a second time up to ep. 7 to figure that out about Mireille. As an example I'll hint you to ep. 1. Kirika is that despaired that she asks, begs a professional assassin for help. To gain the trust of Mireille, she not only disarms herself, she hands a loaded(!) and cocked(!) gun to her.

well if I'm remembering the right spot (I watch it on comcast on demand, so I don't have access to earlier eps unless they rerun it), she's bandaged up right?? Yeah and I think she did it one other time just as a good morning, that didn't make much sense. But ya see, the time in bandages, she may have been just about dead, and due to her 'dear in the headlights' mega deppressed like death is just around the corner aura and the fact that she thinks she has no life, no memories... wouldn't that make you rather suicidal?? Anyway that's my simple view on it.

But like I said, you probly could get in depth with Noir but it's not often that you find the Cowboy Bebop (like Noir), where you JUST don't have to!!

For Mirielle fans, Kirika may be as dependent on Mirielle as Mir is on Kir (I like Kilika ;p like the stupid Kilala name in Inuyasha where you KNOW it's Kirala.) but I see no evidence (yet) that could put Mirielle as an elite assassin on her own! Without Mir, there is no Noir, but without Kir Mir is just plain out of a job... I thought that sound thing made her look ESPECIALLY pathetic lol. But maybe I'm just flapping my gums, I've only seen less than half of it...

Oh, wait, episode 1, I missed it ;p. Or... yeah I think Comcast went through it a second time at 10... well I only check 1ce every 3 weeks lol. Anyway I'll have to pay more attention next time (missed it once, didn't pay attention the second time).
