I'm really not getting anywhere with it... When I try editing it won't come out the way I want it to.

Well keep at it, it might be the footage source...
10th man down is a good war peice it'll work to many different sources.

Alt source suggestions:
Escalfownie
Any Gundam-thing
Macross Zero
(basically I'd use a war series)

Gundam might not be the best of ideas. It works, and well, as demonstrated by rubyeye, so we might want to avoid that.

I'd still use Last Exile for it

..and what goes on with my track I'm still waiting for ADV to make a move with more Princess Tutu, but I think it's getting quite pointless wait so I might start my track soon, if I don't decide to make one of my own projects first.

Well besides Naruto, the only anime I have is FMA, Eva (limited to movies and two volumes on dvd), Trigun (first and last volumes), all of RahXephon, and all of FLCL. Dammit, why didn't I get more war titles? I do have a feeling I'll get the Escaflowne movie soon, however (if just for more video source).

If I don't get anywhere with it in the next few weeks, I may have to drop it (preferably to FoxJones).

Which would be very dissapointing, since that would make the third or so dropped project in a row that I've done. Quite a reputation I have...
