Favorite Scenes?

This thread has probably been done, but here goes,

The best scene (about 1 minute) from any episode of any anime.

You should judge by how much the scene 'spoke' to you (vague i know)
as in, did this scene make ou change the way you look at life.

Action: How well the scene was actually animated, as in, did the scene
visually interest you?

Audio: How did the background / theme music reinforce the scene
(silence counts, as it can produce very strong psychological effects.)

Dialog: Did the character(s) comunicate the scene well (silence is again a
very powrful effect.)

Pick you favorite scene, and why it's your favorite, (maybe you'll get someone else to start watching the series...)

man, theres a handful of exceptional scenes, but here it goes...

NGE, 23rd episode of the series, towards the end when Ritsuko shows Shinji and Katsuragi the dummy plug system.
What appealed to me in this scene was excellent music, intense character emotions, and a HUGE secret that was revealed, not so much that rei was the dummy plug, and she was replacable, becouse we can figure this out way before this episode, But what really got me was what ritsuko revealed about herself.
