There it is, entering int "Romance". Well, I do have to point out that some people (most), in the org versions of their videos, like to bring the resolution of 16:9 footage down to 640 x 360 or 352, whatever the person feels like at the time. I have done this with my video. If this will be a problem, I still have my 856 x 480 master that I could compress and upload to a friend's server, though I'd prefer not to (dial up bites : / ).

Also, I have bumpers at the begining and ending. Nothing difficult to crop off at all, though. I'm interested enough in this just for the competition, as I've never been featured at an actual Con before.

I refuse to submit my real name to anything other than a major convetion contest (Such as AWA). I hope that isn't too large an inconvenience, but It's just how I am on that particular subject. Tono Fyr will be fine enough for my actual name.

Dammit, I fogot which "class" I wish to enter... which is a tough decision. I'll just go for Novice, as I'm not very experienced, even though I am decently confident in my abilities.

Yeah, to anyone wanting to enter the contest that has a problem similar to Tono, where the org version is just not as nice looking.. if you have the hi quality file, you can make a more compressed, but still good looking, MPEG2 or HQ XviD of it with the right res and all that stuff, and either send it to me via YouSendIt, or mail it via snail mail on a CD (or CDs, heh...)

For those who don't know what it is, YouSendIt is a website that lets you send files to people that are too big for email. YouSendIt will temporarally store the file on their servers for a limited time, and send an email to the recipient with a download link.

Just go to http://www.yousendit.com/ and send away. You don't even high to sign up for anything, and can send up to 1GB. (Files larger than a GB, of course, can be multi-part rar'd and sent one chunk at a time.... But I'd hope the vids are all under a gig!)

I'll update my entries list and get all this stuff straightened out tomorrow. There's some peopel who have entered that I haven't sent confirmation emails to. They're coming, give me time... the entries are starting to pick up.

Ok, I can handle it, though I'll need to wait a few days so I can exploit a friends connection. Like I said (I think I said, anyway) I have some webspace on a friend's server that I can upload to rather than Yousendit. I've tried yousendit, doesn't work that well for me.

Guess I'm lucky I kept the HQ version. Eh, I'll let you know with a PM when I can get it up.
