hahahaha.... practice makes perfect... or in this case is it perfect practice makes perfect performance?

well i think Vic M. did a GREAT job in portraying ed's voice... and the boy that does al's voice is wonderful he's so cute... ^_^ i haven't heard the jap voices yet... and i don't really say anything until i hear them... but in this case i know that for english vic is perfect for ed... while in jap... i'll let you know what i think..

but with all things considered everyone has their own opinions.... so lets keep it at that... ^_^

Even though I go to bed at 11:00 to wake up at 7:00am, I still get up at 1:00 to catch the show. Kinda sad, I know but I'm addicted! I got to agree that this dub is a LOT better then most of the ones I have seen (so far). It's nice to see that the voice actors make their emotions sound natural and not scripted like I have seen in a bunch of other anime dubs, really does wonders for the mood. As for the theme, its cool (sidebar: is part of it english? I swear it sounds half english.), but a lot of the other music I could care less for. Great series so far, and I plan to catch the rest as they air, even if I'm in school.

Addiction is bad, I know...

I haven't seen or heard the original Japanese version, but I must say that I rather like the English version. Complaining about how the voices don't sound exactly the same as the original would be pretty pointless since it would be impossible to find American actors with the exact same voice as the original Japanese actors.

Anyway, from what I've heard the dub is fairly true to the original. And I got to meet three of the dub voice actors! The guy who does Roy Mustang is *awsome*.

Somewhere around 40% of the song is English, specifically the intro and end of the song are both in English, while the rest of the theme is Japanese. The English sections are used a little more in the full version of the song, but it's just the same words repeated in the second chorus.

Figure this is worth saying even though this thread hurts my brain...
