Bleh, I hate the anime. The animation is okay for a kids show, but the fact is that there is BARELY any character or plot development. It's pretty much filler after filler after filler. And that people kept comparing it to Digimon.

Now I'm a Digimon fan, love it. It has character development, the creatures can TALK, and each season it's something different, not the same shit over and over.

*cough* Anyway, I played the first version of the game, was bored with it. But! I did like Pokemon Stadium. There was this little side game where we got points for zapping a pokemon to death. *grins* I always chose Pikachu, buahahah!!

I don't think so. I think May and her brother's joining had more to do with either a gym leader or some tree named profeesor related to them, either that, or he helped one out and they started following him.

But i still think in the episode i saw which introduced her she was riding a bike (as you do) and that bike got destory by ash and pikachu
Can't the end of the road be also thought as the beginning for the journey back.

after the first 6 games, 4 card expansions, 4 seasons of the show and 2 movies you think even the people that make up this stuff would get bored and move on with an anime version of Barnie but nooo they have to make renamed versions of the old c*** they always had. Now take that stuff back to Japan and give us animes where the girls have actually passed puberty and the guys fight their own fights and don't make little yellow rats do it. got it? k thanks and good night. :D

Hmm... When I first heard the slogan to that show a few years ago I first thought it was about STDs... I mean... "Gotta catch 'em all"? What is this, hentai for kids? And then the assloads of merchendise came out. Oh, the merchandise. But I think Pokemon's 15 minutes of fame are over, now. But when it was popular, IT WAS FREAKIN POPULAR. There have only been a few anime movies that come out in American theatres. Even more rare is when they are wide release! When the first Pokemon Movie came out in America it was on the news. In fact... I was waving at the cameras of my local news crew at the theatre... Nowadays, when a Pokemon Movie comes out, no one gives a crap... I still about STDs when I hear "Gotta catch 'em all" :?

I actually have the actual episode on my computer with the scene unedited. To get it I had to go through a long process and agree to everything that if something happened to me it was my own fault. The actual scene just has a blinking red and blue light on a screen in the corner, and it last for about 1 second. I'm amazed it caused so much damage in Japan, I guess people there a really seizure sensitive.

Sice there ar elike 3 posts for today i'm going to go ahead and throw one in.After Ash got to the final four and had to battle to get there and lost i stopped watching it because eh i got bored. But I still read the manga.

It is more mature. Has much better animation. All the characters look cooler. Not half as many fillers. There is blood but the humans bleed the most so far from being attack. Just bettering and doesn't get tired like the anime.
