Can not get under 100 MB :/
Hey, i can not get my Mpeg-1 (using TMPGEnc) to get under 100 MB. I am using 320x240, I am not even doing the highest quality, only normal with a Constant 8000 bit rate. It is still 237 MB. The amv is around 4 minutes long, any suggestions? Thanks

You shouldn't use constant bitrate. Use a variable bitrate and encode it with two passes, as is explained here:

In video editing, what the footage looks like means jack shit. The computer can recognize and work with more data than it can output, so you'd be wise to avoid transcoding MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 or whatnot.CerebralAssamite wrote:Just as an example for future reference, the first time I learn to use a dvd to avi converter I converted Akira in a 10k bitrate the file was over a Gig, changed it to 2k, looked the same but was about 300-400Mg *shrugs* just thought it might interest those few who read my posts..
