Same goes for me. For some odd reason though 90% of the times the manga is more interresting and I watch the anime just to see stuff animated in colour.x Emalie R0cketh wrote:Depends. Some series are better in anime and some are better in manga.
Which do you like better, Anime or Manga?

Hmm... Good question. Usually I just automatically say manga because I own much more manga than I do anime... But people bring up a lot of good points. *sigh* I'd say it depends. Like, I love the WeiB Kruez manga but I can't... Take the crappy, choppy animation they throw into a blender and call a series. Although listening to Seki Tomakasu and Takehito Kyoasu is quite nice... -_-
Yeah, I think it depends. (IMHO the Cowboy Bebop anime kicks the shit out of the "manga".)

I can't decide which is better anime or manga because manga has things that anime doesn't have. And the same thing with anime. That's why it's hard for me to decide which is better.

I like anime better because I can't read.
In all seriousness, I like anime better because the artword is much better than manga and the soundtracks are often quite amusing in one way or another. Now if only anime had the same amount of detail as manga, then that would be something in and of itself...

I find anime to be a better choice out of the two.
1. Manga is short as hell, anyone who reads manga knows what im talking about, you can read 1 manga book in about 30 minutes.
2. No music in manga, anime features some memmorable and great music tho.
3. Manga is somewhat overpriced, theres no BOX SETS where you can buy the whole thing for less. You pay around $13 for manga that you can read through in a matter of minutes. EXAMPLE: US Berserk edition of manga, all 8 volumes cost on average $104, without tax. And 8 volume berserk anime SET costs $56.99.........see what i mean.
4. DONT GET ME WORNG! I love manga, i just find that anime is better. For me manga is 'the next best thing' after watching an anime.

Manga ~
I certainly like Manga better and for a good bunch of reasons:
1) They always appear to be perfect (if you get my drift)
... You sometimes suffer disappointments when things happen in the anime.
2) The characters are drawn with better care. (sometimes)
3) They're the original~
Anime is good too! There are some that are better as animes. I definitely like how Hayate (from Pretear) looks in the anime than the manga...
and the Yu-gi-Oh series is better off as an anime too.

I will read manga if I really, really, reeeeeeeally am into a series and need the knowledge to be on the level of the rest of the hardcore fanbase but in all honesty I don't really like it.
I love literature and reading, and I love art, but I don't like mixing the two. Word bubbles obscure art, or due to space constraints the artwork obscures all of the words and depth of writing that the creator might truly want to put into it. . . .so for me, I like to keep the two medium separated. ^^;;
