I hear ya. That's why I have a problem with the whole "Ginny lies to Miki about Yuu" plot point in Marmalade Boy. I mean, we know that Miki doesn't speak English very well, and I doubt Ginny knows Japanese at all. I could forgive that everyone at the school in America speaks Japanese, but when putting those two characters together, the believability of the story gets broken down.

Who knows. Maybe they all started J.S.L. (Japanese as a Second Language) when they were at age two and have become completely fluent in the language just before enrolling for classes. :roll:

It's kind of like Tekken 5. Everyone speaks their own native tounge, and yet everyone understands what everyone else is saying.
