I remember reading somewhere (I think it was in Crystalacids) that even the NY VAs in One Piece agreed that some of the voices doesn't fit especially Sanji's. Of course they have no say in it without losing their jobs.

This is seriously one of 4Kids worst dubs. Hell, Shaman King or even Mew Mew Power is much better than One Piece and that's saying a lot.

I couldnt stand the first episode with that little pinked haird kid what was his name, Koby or something,anyway his voice really irritated me

Then I think you may be happy to know that Coby is not a regular character. In only appears in the first few episodes.

I still think that sanjis voice is not nearly has bad as shanks. what were they thinking when they hired that guy?

I like Shanks voice, it's sorta what I pictured it being when I read the Manga....but Sanji...*ack*......he should be more Suave soudning.

He's back later on for a few eps here and there. Anyone else find it odd that minor characters like him age but nobody else seems to?

I know how to make subs on anime with sucky dubs! At least, I think I do.
You could always put it on Caption and watch the text and just listen to music while watching. That's whow I get rid of it.

But the lollipop........that's like FMA.......it's an unforgivable sin.

We might have not been able to save One Piece, but we might be able to save Bleach. (I think it would be better to persuade ADV to license it, there the ones who did Excel Saga and Saiyuki and those aren't for kids, then we could watch Bleach subbed and unedited. Yay.

Same here. That was just too much for me.

I think that Zolo/Solo has the best VA.
