Good news for Canadian Naruto fans

"English Dubbed Naruto to air on Canadian YTV"

Good news my fellow Canadians! We won't have to be breaking the law imposed by our communist government forbidding the usage of any satellite that is not Starchoice or Bell to watch the Naruto anime series come this fall. According to the YTV website the Naruto anime series, along with a whole bunch of other series, will be coming to YTV this Fall! There are currently no details on what time or what day it will air, all we know is that it will be along with new shows including: Ghost in the Shell, Mew Mew Power, Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi, Zatch Bell, D.I.C.E., Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, and Pokemon Chronicles. Hopefully we can assume it will coincide with the airing of Naruto in the USA.

i know i went to Ytv's website and couldnt find anything on Naruto,but i went to other forums on other websites and they were talking about the same thing

Regarding our last post about Naruto airing in Canada on YTV, upon contacting a YTV representative today we were told that YTV has no comment on when the Naruto anime series will debut on their network, but they did say it would indeed be coming. They also mentioned scheduling details would be released in a new anime bulletin at some point in the near future.

Oh joy. Another anime that has too many episodes playing at midnight on a school night because there is violence that might pervert the minds of our poor, innocent children

I think I will continue getting anime my way. I like my sleep.

I might also mention to my fellow Canadians that Mew Mew Power is supposed to be Tokyo Mew Mew and that this horrible butchering of the original series plays saturday mornings on 4Kids. They have this horrible tendency of playing the episodes out of order.

According to the new Shonen Jump newsletter, you lucky Canadians will get to see Naruto before us Americans. It will air on YTV, on September 9th at 9:30PM.
