It's not seen on any channel, but it'll be on Toonami on Sept. 12th or thereabouts.

The long and the short of it, a bunch of angsty ninja kids kicking a lot of ass.

The perfect anime for this generation of kids - we need ninja heroes for everyone here dammit. If it makes ninjas look as cool to today's kids as Ninja Turtles did to my generation - I'll be all too happy :)

But I foresee a merchandising industry that will rival and likely exceed DBZ, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh and all the other recent popular anime put together. Yes, I think it'll be THAT big. With the right marketing, I think this will be the most popular show for 10-14 year olds in recent history - although it does have many elements to appeal to much older audiences as well.

In all honesty, I really hope that Naruto would be a financial success so it'll be enough to revive the entire anime market due to saturation.

Oh, I do too. I think it's only elitist "OMG NARUTO ONLY ROX JAPONEASE ENGLISH DUB SUXOR AND I KNEW ABOUT NARUTO B4 U ALL  " kids that are averse to the prospects of its' success.

In all honesty, I think it's a good enough show to deserve popularity. It's been made to be popular, anyway.

We need more anime like Naruto. There is only anime that's Scifi, fighting or something very strange that you can't explain. Sorry if I offended anyone that likes that stuff.

You know what's really funny? All the Animes here on the top 30 Anime list are already out in America, and have been out for quite some time in America (FMA not as long as others) ... Except Naruto.. Naruto isn't even out in America yet, and it's already number 5 on the top anime list. that says a lot, and also some of the most innovative, well known creators here on the org that are well appreciated like silver moon have Naruto all the way on the top of there list of favorite anime. But meh, there just probably amateurs that don't know what REAL anime is.

Now the $25,000 question is, will it still hold that apeal after the dubbing and marketing?
