Short - Well made and good Animes?

Here are some Animes I came with off the top of my head that are short

Weiss Kreuz: 25 episodes
X/1999 (or just X ): 26 episodes ( or around that number)
Candidate for Goddesss: 12 episodes
Scryed: 26 episodes
Samurai Champloo: 26 Episodes

All these have decent amount of fighting except Candidate for Goddess it lacks some action

You should try Spiral ~Suiri no Kizuna~ (26 episodes) and Haibane Renmei (13 episodes) They are both very good animes.

Voices of a different star (never seen it, but if it's like it's later cousin...) and it's later sibling wich I loved, Beyond the Clouds. Slow but well worth it if you like beautyfull stuff.

.hack//sign, maybe .hack//liminality or .hack//legend of the twilight

Only 25 eps. Wonderful animation, IMO, even if you get majorly confused at points (but then again, how many worlds do they have? sign, the 4 games, liminality, legend the tv, legend the manga...). Little bit of action, you could make it work (i've seen people get it to work)
