Questions About Air

I just finished watching the serries and was wondering where I could get more of the story. Any help would be great.

Well, the series started as a PC game, so you could look into that (although it is a hentai game, I think). Not sure if it's been translated/released in English though.

But in reality you know you love open-ended unresolved stuff that leaves you trying to figure things out yourself.

The movie is an alternate retelling (though I heard lots of people that fans of the TV series and the game are very disappointed). When that comes out, I'm taking it as a stand-alone.

THe ending of the TV series was shit! How can they make it worse??

Ok, Air the movie has been released on fansubs!

Now anyone who thought (for some odd reason) the TV series open ended conclusion pissed you off, the movie's ending will not dissappoint you. Hell this movie is actually pretty linear with lots of digital effects (though lens flares has been abused so much

). They even threw in a romantic angle in the movie.

As a stand-alone movie, it's actually pretty good once you can get through the digital effects. I can see where the PC game fans and TV fans were very upset about this movie since there were massive changes made. So when you guys watch this movie, try not to think about the events in the TV series too much since this is pretty much an alternate retelling.

What I'm looking for are links to sites where I can Purchase any related items. Even if the game is only in Japanese I'd still like to get it for my collection, if nothing else. Or atleast some good leads. I don't have the luxury of doing a lot of the searches here because of the content of some pages that I would have to look throu. Even if it's not intentional I can get banned from the internet cafe here for loading any kind of hentai or adult matterials. I cann't even plug in my own computer, just my memory stick.

I cann't wait to get ahold of the movie myself. Even if the story is an alternate retelling I still want it. I mean, I'm a big Tenchi Muyo fan and every incarnation of Tenchi is a different retelling of the story, so that will not bother me. This is just one of those stories that you grow to love the characters and you never realy want to let the story go.

I didn't find the movie all that different from the series... prefer the series though as obviously 12 episodes works better then one long one and the utter misuse of shadows in the movie REALLY bothers my eyes. I got used to it but I'm still squinting even now.

obviously I can't speak for anybody who's going into the movie without seeing the tv series, but I just can't recomend it, it skips around so much!!
