Otakon Baltimore Area prescreenings (schedule change)

I really do have to say that it's quite bad when the AMV Coordinator himself does not post anything about the finalists, or even about anything all year round anywhere... I've not heard one word from him except for the post 8 months or so ago introducing himself? Is he really that busy??

Quite honestly, as an AMV Contest coordinator myself I take the effort to keep the contestents updated. Is this really too much to ask for? I do realize this year I did not enter, but how this year's contest goes will influence if I will enter next year...

I have no clue if he is so busy that he can't post more than he does. I mean, I know I would. What I do know for sure is that he travels a lot for work, so yeah I can see how that would keep you busy.
Only reason we don;t have finalists yet is because the results from the final prescreening didn't even get sent to him till this week.

Not to insult Antonio or anything, but...

Perhaps someone who is a lot more accessable(sp?) should be elected the coordinator next time? I mean, I'm sure he has no control over how much work he has on his plate, but perhaps next time someone with a bit clearer schedule and maybe a bit more vocal towards the crowds, I know Mr. Westbrook has recieved a bit of flack due to the fact that he is trying to speak on behalf of the AMV Coordinator and knowing just about as much as we do.

It only takes a few minutes to post or e-mail.. If he is that busy then maybe he is the wrong person for the job... I know you've basically become the spokesperson, but that does not excuse him from not posting.. If I ran the contest, I would make sure my presence in the community was made in order to keep ties with contestants and maintain the high profile and success the contest had enjoyed several years ago...

Well, this is all I'll say about this, as I don't this to become a flaming discussion... I just thought it needed to be said considering the grief I’ve seen here and on the Yahoo group…
