Well I think the ending would work out better just taking away the whole flame thing. =)

They won't have to worry about this project anymore if they don't have a beta in within the next two weeks. It's not my problem if someone chooses to procrastinate. Wait.. it's MY fault that they aren't sending in betas? I say bullshit to you SQ.SQ wrote:You know the whole reason nobody's giving you betas is because you keep changing the deadlines, right?

Just some advice SF, if your going to lead a project you need to be organised.
I agree with SQ to a point.. First the dead line was December I was like cool I can work on it around my own studies, then its ill see the beta's in 4 weeks
*jaw proceeds to drop* since I joined up only 3 weeks earlier I would definitely not have anything done to the standards bar you set. Now I see its back to December but you want beta's in 2 weeks again..
I am not trying to look like I know everything about leadership however in this project I'm doing I am my teams leader and in only 3 weeks I have learned more about leadership and Integrity than in my whole life. My point is, until you have really experienced it you wont be any good at it (unless your naturally gifted) and I can see you aren’t the best at it.
However I do agree with you SF that this project has been going for a quite some time now, almost a year in fact. If the members of this project do not have a beta by now they are obviously not showing interest in it. Then again SF it all comes back onto you, since you are the leader it is your responsibility to make sure everyone is doing their work and keeping up to date with your timeframe. If you start booting people cause they aren’t able to give you a beta in 2 weeks, then you may just about lose everyone in this project... and SQ with it.

To tell you the truth, I may just drop the deadline. As I've said before, I'm not going to accept any piece of work. I expect a 5 second beta, I've never asked for more than a 5 second beta the first time. I was too lienant in the past. There are people on this project that have been here since the start and they don't even have one second done. I can only symphathize with a few people that are having problems and I symphathize with everyone on the fact that you aren't going to be able to do a 30 second segment in 2 weeks because you all do indeed have a life. I never asked anyone to finish their segment within 2 weeks. All I asked from the members of this project was dedication. It's my fault as the head of this project for not keeping up with my editors. BUT for the past, what, 4 months, I HAVE pressed them to begin. As you all know, I send PMs to EVERYONE that is currently in the project because not everyone is a forum-frequenter and you can't miss a PM. If you don't look at how many PMs you have each time you visit the forum, then what the hell. To tell you the truth, I run this project as I see fit. I just said "screw it," recently. This nice bullshit I've been doing for almost a year, letting people procrastinate, slack-off, all that. It's done. The people who have recently joined have either finished segments, or have started on it. The people that've been here the whole time, what the HELL have you been doing for a year? As for new recruits, for the moment, I haven't pressured them too much, but I have sent PMs to them as well. This is so I can ensure NO ONE comes to me near the deadline of this project and say "oh, I didn't know the due date was *insert date*." If I EVER see that, they're being booted. SQ has always had problems with my methods, so I just brush it off. We all have our own way of doing things, and I've been really nice, not anymore, though. As a previous member of this project Cereb, you know that I always ask about your segment status. This is, of course, the members I have on my AIM. Everyone else I PM like once a month or every other month. I post and tell everyone if I've made an update, so there's no excuse for anyone. Whenever SQ actually makes a good point, though. I take it into consideration and may even enforce it. Like the due date, I added one, guess what? I have members that still haven't done anything. So it was either you have a beta ready for me within the next 2 weeks, or just get the hell off this project because you obviously don't have the same motivation of finishing this project when you first came in(maybe you never even had it all). There are some things that pissed me off, too. Members in this project finishing 2 vids without even starting a segment they should've started long ago. What the hell.. The students in this project, oh hells no. None of them should have an excuse due to summer vacation. TheUnlimited had a summer job and he still got some of his segment done. Meh.. I'm starting to sound like I'm repeating myself so, meh..
EDIT: Oh, yeah! Guess what everyone? Today's the day you were all supposed to turn in a beta! When did I tell you all about this again? A month and 2 weeks ago, I think. I PMed you all, you got a 2 week extension. You've ALL heard about it. Cereb, even you knew about it.
EDIT2: Brolly345, one of the members I've PMed, ask him. He can tell you how often I update, PM, and all. No one seemed to care, though. My fault again for not running a tight shift.

I'm done.
My track is near completion, just a little tweaking and I'll have the huffyuv ready this weekend.
Took me just a couple hours when I just sat down and did it. All you procrastinators putting it off, just sit down and get to work, and it will be done in no time!

Woah, woah, woah, man. Don't bring me into this.SuperFusion wrote:EDIT2: Brolly345, one of the members I've PMed, ask him. He can tell you how often I update.
But I will say I did recieve such a PM. I have yet to do anything because I've been working a 40 hour/week work shift, and have been going to school at the same time. That leaves me with no free time.
Good news though, They dropped me back down to part time. That means I have free time again, and I'll be getting to work on my track.
