Orochimaru's English Voice Actor (Naruto)

For those that don't know or don't care I was just searching through imdb and Matt Damon is going to be doing Orochimaru's voice for the Naruto tv series.. This came as quite a shock when I found this out, hollywood ... anime... to me it doesn't mix nor will it ever..

I would have thought an oscar winner would be to expensive to hire for a series as long as Naruto. Maybe he's a fan. Reguardless, it'll be interesting to see what he brings to the character.

I don't care much if Matt Damon does the voice, but I'm really concerned about Orochimaru having Matt Damon's voice

However, This is interesting... Like Coffee said, let's just wait and see what he can do with the roll.

One thing I love about Oro's japanese voice is that he sounds rather androgynous. It's pretty raspy but I can make out both masculine and feminine qualities. (Isn't he played by a woman anyway?)

I really can't think of any english voice actor/actress that gave me the same feeling (of course...the fact that I understand English could be a factor in that). I can imagine Oro having less rasp and more masculinity in his voice. In general, he looks young enough for it to work. But that's assuming that Damon will voice him that way.

But we'll see what he does with it.

You got to be kidding me?! IMDB is known for some inaccuracies due to the fact the public inserts information, and most of the time the website never checks them. Hmmm.....

I highly doubt this is the case. There has yet to be an official release of the voice actors for the series; that being said I'd really like to know how IMDB got that information. Like I said, I highly doubt Matt Damon will play a role, but it's possible; we should just wait for an official cast list.

well they have about a month left so we'll see if the info will come out in the next 2 weeks. They know if they fuck this anime up, because of the huge fan base they will get a back lash, real hard like.

And they'll attribute that not to any fault of their own but to the fansubbingcommunity... It's all a set up. Run while you still can!
