Wow. I was sure Real Ninjas would take Humor, especially after the way it crushed AnimeNEXT. Both are excellent vids, though, and I have no argument with either getting large numbers of awards (and Michael, we NEED a downloadable version of Ninjas. Medically.).
Other thoughts:
Watch Me Shine (VicBond's latest) should have been in Action instead of Rhythm. I'd have voted for it.
I'm really surprised the Naruto Technique Beat won, seeing as it's totally unintelligible to anyone who hasn't seen a lot of Naruto. I guess that's enough people to win a vote, though.
Scintilla, you freaking rule. Waka Laka not only kicked ass, but convinced one of my friends to watch Azumanga. Double bonus.

Congrats to all! It looked very similar to my ballot as well. It's awesome you won Scintilla, especially considering how you almost didn't get a chance to compete! Rock on.
I had a tough time in voting because of the great selection. Drama and Comedy were the two hardest categories for me to decide on.
It was also great to meet a lot of the editors (dwchang, AtomX, downwithpants, SarahTheBoring, ANTDrakko, etc...) as well as the regulars (VegettoEx, MeriC, etc...).
Hope to meet up with you guys again next year.

Wow, my first otakon, and second contest. I am happy I am alive. I know I got killed, but I didn't care, just the feeling that my heart was going to pop out of my chest was worth it while the video played.
The video that one drama might now be my fav. video. It was so creepy and emotional, you can tell the creator put a hell of a lot of effort in it. Pretty much all the videos were solid, what a great contest.
