Kunicon is in Miami. The next convention in Tampa itself would be Metrocon '06.

Kunicon's website's been down for a few days, they may finally have tanked.

Check anime-cons.com for a full list, there are tons of cons in Florida so you may find one within driving range...

Not Tampa, but as far as Florida cons, I believe this one is next. First year convention. I'm planning on going because it's a relatively short drive from where I live.

Sigh no we are not tanked we are just having a few server issues with apache. But Kunicon in Miami is all set and we are ready we are just waiting for the server problems to be fixed so we can actually post the information.

oh thank lord...there was rumors starting that kunicon will be canceled, or that oranganime banned it, and the site was taken of, but hey, thanks for the info
