I have a couple.

One the fighting dreamers opening for Naruto was awesome,
The opening for berserk is so random I love it.
And Texhnolyze Blew me away.

My favorite is the theme to Nightwalker: Gessekai by Buck Tick.

Given the animes reputation there are probably thousands of you out there who are scowling and now think im an idiot.

I like the song, deal with it.

Naruto has had a few good opening songs. The show as a whole is only good, not great, but Rocks is a badass song, and some of the others are good as well.

Bakuretsu Tenshi has an awesome opening theme. Sounds like Japanese Funk, and the tap dancing noises add that special something.

The theme from Boys Be. I have never even seen this show, but I heard the song in an AMV made by Omnistrata and I've loved it ever since.

School Rumble, of course, has a catchy and completely awesome opening song.

The opening song from Beck, while not as good as the ending song, is still 100% awesome.

Read or Die, the OVA not the TV show, has a killer opening number. I especially like the full version of the song instead of the condensed version used as the actual opening.

But my favorite of all time is the opening song from Gunslinger Girl by The Delgados. Being one of my favorite bands, I cannot fail to pick this as my favorite opening song. Now maybe if 311 did an anime opening they would take first place but until that distant (yeah... never going to happen) day comes, this takes the cake.

Honorable mention goes to the opening from Hellsing for having some of the most incomprehensible Engrish I've ever had to try to wrap my brain around.

um lets see....this may sound underage but my favorite theme song is probably the Yu-gi-oh theme song and "Ready Steady Go" Oh!! and i dont know if this falls into anime but "Simple and Clean" DDR mix

My favorite anime theme songs would have to be the ones from Fruits Basket,

you know that song "For Fruits Basket"
I love both japanese and english version it calms me down(mostly when I'm angry)

and I also love the ending song and all of the songs from that show

The... umm... the opening theme for Mahou Sensei Negima, I think it's called "Colorful Happy Material". I don't really know why, but I can't ever get it out of my head. 8] That, and my entire anime club always dances along to it whenever we play an episode. It's a tradition now...

Is that sad? I hope that it's not... 8]

The real folk blues isn't a theme it's the closing song from the end of the last episode. I will agree however that bleach has a very good intro song, and also a very good cloasing song. And every one loves the every so catchy opening and close to High School Rumble.

I think you'll find the Real Folk Blues was the ED song in almost every episode, if it's not a theme song to Cowboy Bebop then I don't know what is. I really like Bleach's Asterisk too, I've even memorized all the lyrics.

I know it's not in Japanese (good lord!), but nother anime theme I like is the opening to Wolf's Rain, "Stray". I was reading a thread of most hated OP's/ED's a while ago, that came up more than any other. I dunno what is wrong with people, it's awesome.
