Help me find this anime!!

Ok here's teh deal. You better know your anime's really well cause i don't have much on this. I know I watched it on t.v between 1980 and 1990. It was on the sci-fi channel. The only thing I remember was that in this anime it had a tank with only fourwheels and some tricked out supension. Two people controlled the tank. The one part of it I remember is that they were fighting in a city setting and this tank just bursts through a wall. I believe they were probably cops and such. Anywho, if someone could please just tell me I will be forever in your debt. As a result of the person who figures out this anime I will opinion 5 of your music vids without expecting any opinions in return. This is so important because this was the first anime I ever saw in my life. So i have to know what it is.

Actually it isn't dominion tank police. I know for a fact cause I've seen it all teh way through.

Well, Those Who Hunt Elves has a tank which occasionally busts through walls, but the people who control it aren't much like cops.

I believe there's a new Dominion Tank Police anime that came out a few years back, and an older one which may be the one you saw.

I'm gonna have to go with TaranT who first guessed Dominion Tank Police. Although the tank doesn't look quite like I remember that has to be it. Place your five vids on here and I'll opinion them. They can't be AVI format cause my computer wont play them.

My first aniem I saw over 13 years ago. Wow that's a long time ago O_o.

There's not much to pick from in that time period that has both tanks and cops. Especially if it played on Sci-Fi's Saturday Anime. See here and here for other comments about that old Saturday Anime series. They did not play all that many titles.
