DDR Project 1 VCDs - Free at AWA

Post by Kusoyaro » Tue Sep 24, 2002 2:29 pm

Yup, I'm giving them away willy-nilly again. 50-100 copies, and I have no idea if that's going to be way too much or not nearly enough - last time I brought free CDs to AWA, I got drunk and threw them at random people :P Anyway, I'll be carrying around a big green bag full of CDs all weekend, so if you see me, don't be afraid to ask for one - the more I give away, the lighter a load I have to carry.

Don't ask for Project 2, because I don't have it and have no idea when a VCD will be available.
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

Cool. I was able to download DDR Project 1 before Waldo's went down but cool none-the-less. Let me know if you plan to get drunk again. I'll team up with ya with my compilation CD set and we can do twice the damage.

This may be feasible at all but is anyone bringing a laptop or other CPU? I ask because I was and I have the DDR Project on file and can easily move it to a portable USB/FireWire hard drive I have as well for uploading.

I'm in the same boat as TWK- I just can't make it down to AWA (my wife bought tickets for a concert for us to go see this weekend before I found out about all the insanely cool stuff going on at AWA- is anyone going to be video-taping the Iron Chef contest?!?!) but I really want a copy of the VCD. I'd be quite happy to mail you a blank CD and return postage for it. Maybe even two so I could get a copy of DDR2 when you start distributing copies of it  Having seen the AM-3P vid. at AXNY, I definitely want a copy if it as well!

Heh. You really want to watch two people sitting at a computer for 2 hours?

If it were done like the real Iron Chef, with commentary and play-by-play and such, sure! I think it would be quite amusing (at least to other AMV creators), especially with the right commentators and color people :p Besides, I'm sure a number of us could learn a lot from watching it...

Talk about off topic...

Problem I see with filming the contest would be we would want to see the screens. If they are using CRTs that is going to look like crap. Plus you may really bug the competitors with a camera over their shoulder. Besides, you can't commentate while there because it is an active contest and the contestants can hear you just as well as the camera can.
