Well novels are long, generally they're 80,000 words or more. I estimate mine will be about 500 pages when it's done. And yes, I'm still working on it - just starting it actually.

If you want a brief summary, it's about a 4 misfits who band together to become a family. Also, the main character is a human who suddenly finds himself in an alien body and an alien world, and it's his story of finding a place for himself in that society. (This type of story is called a bildungsroman.) :)

have you drawn anime characters befor ? or you're a beginer ?
ive can draw some anime characters like DBZ really good but when i try to draw on my own in different posistions without looking at picture then thats when there sloppy. some turn out better than others. ive taken drawing courses in college but that didnt really help me much lol.
ofcourse , everyone can draw with looking at a picture and drawing a character without looking at something is much harder . even you should think about your own character , not just drawing , and it need practice very much . was your college courses about drawing an anime ??? :?: anime and mangas have their own rules that you your self should learn it .
that courses you learn may help you but not so much . I know it cause I'm like you too .

I have been trying to write my own mnga for saome time. (years) And I get a ways into it, then my style improves, so i start all over again. Or, I realize that the story should be better, so I change it, and have to start over. Same vicious cycle. I ahve about 5 stories going. None have been completed. Therefor, I decided to just do rough drafts to get the idea out onto paper, and wait til I am steady in my art, and content with the story. Then I will work on a final draft.

I did that with novel ideas for a while back when my writing style was stil maturing, but by the time I graduated from college my rate of improvement had slowed down enough that I could work on a large project until I completed it, before feeling the need to start a new better one. :)

College might be a good way for me to mature to just the right style. I'll wait til I finish to finish my manga. Til then, I will work at becoming better!

i've made two. One i cannot decide on a title and the other is titled Anori Elements. In Anori Elements, there's a lost civilization of the Anori, or Red Dragon. (It has its own language too)

Well, one thing to do is to name the chapter after what happens in it. Another thing to do is to write a poem and use one line of the poem for each chapter's title. And if the chapters aren't being published separately you don't really need titles, you could just number the chapters.
