Make a DVD-Video without destroy the original size..
I have right now a file with a dimension of 608x336. So it's not 4:3. I want to make a DVD-Video that a Playstation2 or a general DVD reader could, obviously, read. What can I do?
All the programs I tried made a 4:3 picture, so stretching the picture, how can I create something that have black bars on the top/bottom instead of the stretched video?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

The resize filter, I tried it with bad results, I'll try again since your tip is directly to that fitler. About avisynth, I don't know how to use that scrypt. ;\Keeper of Hellfire wrote:You can either do it with the VirtualDub resize filter or with the AviSynth AddBorders(...) command.
Thanks a lot for the support!
Keitaro, I don't want to FILL the black borders, I WANT them!!

336/608 = 0.55263 etc
(336/608)*640 = approx 354
So:
- Resize your video to 640x352
- Add 64 pixels worth of borders each to the top and bottom, to make the video 640x480
- Resize THIS to 720x480
- Encode MPEG-2 for DVD with 4:3 aspect ratio flag.
Then it should play back correctly.
