- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

AMV Hell 3 was absolutely awesome. I'm glad the one or two videos I did that were not automatically "0" material did not make the cut, because they were too long and slow and would have busted up the flow.
Speaking of 0, someone needs to yousendit it; I'm blocked from torrents and need to find out what else of my stuff didn't make the cut so I can finish my "rejected from AMV Hell" compilation. I had two more racist cuts that didn't get in, and I actually put effort into one of them.

Shin Hatsubai is a Premiere-free studio. Insomni-Ack is habitually worthless.

Yeah, like the 18 hours I've waited for it so far... -_-aielI_Ileia wrote:Actually, AMV Hell is 700mb, and waiting 22 minutes for something that big is hella fast compared to the hours it'll take some users to get it. And they STILL download it.shinodude wrote:dam hell 3 is 300mb i dont feel like waiting 22 minutes for an amv lol

I can host it if you want - someone will have to upload it to my server though, so if someone is willing, email me (madman [at] bobdeveaux.com)Kai Stromler wrote:Speaking of 0, someone needs to yousendit it; I'm blocked from torrents and need to find out what else of my stuff didn't make the cut so I can finish my "rejected from AMV Hell" compilation. There is actually a story behind that segment, for anyone who caresdj_ultima_the_great wrote: First off, the Eva/Titanic section was probably my favorite. That was uncannily good.
Years back (like...5 or 6 years back O_O), AWA used to have a contest called the AMV dare...basically they would throw out a song/concept that most people wouldn't want to do, and dare people to send in entries. One year, the dare was to use My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion. Instead of making a straightforward video, I set about making...well, basically a full-length AMV Hell video set to a single song and various sources. Lots of shots of boats crashing, lovers dying horribly, etc. etc. I got about 1 minute in, got bored, and ditched it. So when I heard about AMV Hell 3, I dug up my old betas, sent my favorite clip to Zarxrax, and he approved the concept I remade it, of course, because the original beta was an mpeg-1 captured from VHS
Also, Zarxrax: is there a list anywhere of all the icons and the associated editors?
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

No The euphoria azumanga vid is done. That thing took way to long to do.genestarwind21122 wrote:OMG AMV Hell 3 was halirous. Hey is there going to be a full version of the Azumanga Daioh/ Euphoria.
Not to say that the azumanga video parodies are said and done but "Ophoria" as i like to call it is definately done. It may pop up again in a future Azumanga DIE-OH segment but i think ive parodied Koop enough for now.
Now on to the others on my list.

Damn dude, are you as old as I am. lolYears back (like...5 or 6 years back O_O), AWA used to have a contest called the AMV dare...basically they would throw out a song/concept that most people wouldn't want to do,
Also, Zarx J&POnline stands ready to distribute AMV Hell 3.0 if you would like. We have 600/gb of bandwidth pumping through our server and we are ready if you say go. We would have to regulate bandwidth somewhat but we will also distribute if you like.
Plus what about doing The Making of AMV Hell where each of us could offer our perspective on making the video and what not.
I started doing audio commentaries on my vids I do because of the emails I got asking how I did this, where did I get the idea for that, blah, blah, etc, etc.
I think it would be cool to do a Making of AMV Hell 3.0 video.
