Anime Destiny 2005 AMV Contest
Deadline extended!
Yes, Cal Animage Alpha's one-day convention is back for a second year. And that means another AMV contest to close out the 2005 season.

What: Anime Destiny 2005
When: November 5, 2005. Convention runs from 10 AM to 10 PM. Contest screening tentatively scheduled for 6 PM to 8 PM (time may change).
Where: Martin Luther King Jr. Student Union and Valley Life Sciences Building on the UC Berkeley Campus
Submission Deadline: The deadline has been pushed back to October 15, 2005. You still have time to submit your entry!
Submission Methods: Snail-mailed CD, or DVD; YouSendIt; download link.
Categories: Drama, Sentimental/Romance, Action/Horror, Trailer/Parody, and Comedy/Upbeat
Voting Process: Audience ballot voting
Prizes: One "Best of..." for each category, one "Best of Show." We will also present "Judges' Choice Awards."
We had an amazing contest last year, and we hope to repeat the runaway success this year with lots of excellent videos showcasing a variety of editing talent. We have more than doubled our seating capacity with a much larger showing room this time around, so send us your videos!

I think something's amiss there.Please keep the length of the submission longer than 30 seconds, but shorter than 6 minutes.

While I'm not the coordinator this year, I will be helping out with the contest again this year. There was a really good number of submissions last year, and hopefully, we'll see the same pattern again this year.
Oh, and I'm betting there'll be those nice trophies again too.
