okay sense everyone is out of Q's I'll ask one what are some of the changes you go through when you go ssj?

1. Increased rage, as though a Berserker (this can be tamed with training.)
2. Change in hair and eye color, usually to blonde and green.

These are form specific:

SSJ: Hair becomes spikier than usual. Golden Aura is sometimes accompanied.

Ultra Super Saiya-jin: Hair becomes spiker, golden aura is sometimes present, and muscle mass increases significantly. Also, pupils sometimes disappear entirely, depending on the individual. Power significantly increases, but sacrifices speed for increased muscle mass.

SSJ2 / Majin:
Elecricity begins to emanate from around the individual, usually beginning at the feat and rising towards the head. A Golden Aura sometimes accompanies the form. Hair becomes significantly spikier, bangs are slicked up as well, and even appears to grow slightly. Power skyrockets even moreso than from normal Saiya-jin to SSJ, and continues to rise at an incredible rate; their is never a speed loss however, as the body begins to metabolize at substantial amounts, heightening muscle strength while simply defining the physique more and more (strength increases while muscle mass stays vaguely the same, although the muscles do grow, though not to an incumbering degree). This exponential increase in physical strength and Ki without uncontrolled muscle growth gives the individual incredible speed. There are apparently no down sides to this form, and it can apparently be held for an indefinite amount of time without struggle.
Even thuogh it is not the "strongest" form physically or based on Ki, it is considered the Perfect SSJ form because of the apparently limitless amount of Ki expended by the individual over an extended period of time, it's increased strength and speed with no loss to either, and the ability of the individual to hold the form for any duration of time without any effort. If any downside exists, it is that the individual becomes marginally bloodthirsty and their rage clouds their judgment slightly.

SSJ3:
Pupils are finally visible, not just irises; Muscle mass increases greatly, though not to the point of encumberment. Eyebrows disappear, apparently because the eyebrow region is now completely muscled. It's assumed that the body-fat of the individual is little more than perhaps 1% at best. Hair grows to incredible lengths, resulting in a Vejiita-sized widow's peak, due to an increased metabolic rate, as well as significantly more Ki and physical strength than even in the SSJ2 form. However, due to this increase in metabolism, the form is very diffucult to maintain for extended periods of time, leading to the individual expending all of their ki in a matter of a few minutes. However, the individual using this, unlike the previous SSJ forms, feels absolutely no rage, and as such, retains all wisdom and composure, and thus is able to think very clearly at all times (assuming they can to begin with - Gotenks, for example, does not in either case)

Mystic:
Only Gohan is able to use this; he retains all power boosts as if he were going SSJ3, but doesn't suffer from the heightened metabolic rate; as such, he may stay in Mystic form for as long as he wishes without effort, as though he were in SSJ2 mode. In simple terms, it's all the pluses of SSJ2 and SSJ3 rolled into one, without any of the side effects of either (enormous strength, speed, and Ki, along with incredible Ki control, all while able to think toally clearly, and stay that way for ever if he wishes).

I'm not even going to get into SSJ4, because frankly DBGT is a schlock piece of marketting filth filled with inconsistencies, plot-holes, and crappy animation, that doesn't exist for all I care.

No, "Mystic" actually replaces the SSJ form for Gohan. Mystic is sort of a SSJ for humans. Before, when Gohan went SSJ, his powers as a Saiya-Jin were in control, and he was affected as such; after Oji-Kaioshin's ritual, however, his powers as a Human were so strong they overrode his Saiya-jin blood. and he lost the ability to go SSJ. The payoff, however, is that he now can ascend to a form much more powerful than any SSJ form (yes, he actually is as strong as, if not stronger than, his father at that point; Buu just got the better of him and sucked up his strength). The one difference is that - while SSJ can be achieved at a relatively low power level in the broad spectrum of things - Mystic can only be attained when the user is already at an enormously high level, apparently higher than any "normal" human could attain (Krillin, being the only "true human" of the group besides Yamucha, is officially the strongest human in the world, and even he doesn't hold a candle to Trunks, let alone Gohan).

SSJ2, however, proved that is the unmitigated god for fighting bad-guys after Gokuu and Vejiita fused, becoming Vejiito; Vejiito became, what he called, Super Vejiito (in actuallity, it was just SSJ2, but the rise in ego made him come up with the stupid name). Remember, in SSJ3 both Gotenks and Gokuu stood no chance against Buu; however, Gokuu and Vejiita had enough power in SSJ2 Vejiito form to make a fool of Buu. The true power of SSJ2 is that it has no maximum limit to its power - it's user's level just keeps rising and rising, without them ever becoming tired from using and maintaining it, or losing speed because of increased muscle mass.

That's what pissed me about Gohan in Mystic form. He could of beat the living s*** out of Buu like it was nothing. Instead he got cocky and pissed around until SSJ3 Gotenks and Piccolo got absorbed.

But I did enjoy Mytic form. True he couldn't go ssj anymore but his power increase was greater than SSJ3 Goku's.
