Is Naruto Really Worth It?
Truthfully, I'm massively not impressed with what I've seen so far of Naruto. And before anyone blames the dub, STFU. I'm talking about the show in it's entirety.
It's not exactly funny, and at some points, the 'comedy' is pretty stereotypical. Usually when I guess something that will happen, it happens. PLUS, I hear that the manga-ka who does Naruto kinda gets screwy at the end. Like, a character that can't use the ninja skills suddenly can or something.
So tell me, is Naruto truly worth watching? And don't give me crap 'bout the dub or the sub, just what's so damn appealing about the show?

its the story dude. Its just a good story, thats why the manga is popular. The comedy is more about characterization then to humour you. If your after something decent then naruto is perfect. But if you want something that will change your life or question your existence then your barking up the wrong tree.

Since Naruto gets so much praise, I bet some people watch it with way too high expectations, thus destroying joy factor expecting a grand hit... just see if you naturally like it, don't be prepossess from of all the hype, you may either end up enjoying it or not..
I hated evenangelion at first and wondered what all the hype was about.. and didn't like it too much for the first 7 eps. then it just started to build up.. and became one of my favorite series of all time. Don't base wether it's good or not from a few episodes, that's called close mindedness.. Later on in the series there's going to be a lot of new characters introduced with many interesting characteristics traits.. that's when a lot of the value in the series comes in.. I wonder if you saw the training episode yet, I thought it was the best dub so far.. anyway.. hope you enjoy it. Also if you want to know more wether it's worth it or not.. there are many reviews out there going into detail.. probably a lot better than what anyones going to give you here.
