Post by x_rex30 » Sun Oct 09, 2005 12:03 am

Soo they remaster the audio, I know that much.. but I don't know if they remastered the visual quality as well. Anyone have any before and after footage so I could compare the quality? I'm thinking of ordering some of the remix dvds.. so please.. just list here what's new what you think about the audio quality, visual quality, etc.. thanks.

There are remastered DVDs? The quality looked fine, but I always had a problem with the audio. Guess that's what they remastered..

I guess so.. since no one else has mentioned anything else.. if someone could give more feedback on these remasters, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

In NewType USA they say that the visual quality is retouched. They say, "the show's colors are brilliant and vivid." Also there are new extras too. For example, there is two commentary trackes on the first disc one from Japan and there is an American one too.

Random stupid bit of info: On the back of the first volume of Cowboy Bebop remix, the second episode is listed as "Stray Cat Strut" instead of "Stray Dog Strut"

Really? why the heck would they do that...

But Not too much has changed as I saw, the quality is a bit better... I don't think it's worth getting if you already have cowboy bebop... but if you don't It wouldn't hurt to go for the remastered

THey were paying homage to a song called "Stray Cat Strut" by naming that Episode "Stray Dog Strut", maybe that has something to do with the change in name.

Ahh... I guess that makes sense...
