Anime Recommendation?

Post by inuhikarifan » Tue Oct 11, 2005 11:03 am

I'm looking for an anime that is something like X the movie. Not the show, it was disappointing. I'm looking for something that is darker, quite serious, and has fairly good animation. The more dark and serious, the better!

I was looking at Please Save My Earth, cause it's on for a good price right now, but in a pic it looked like there is a talking cat. I hate that kinda thing.

Thnx!

End of Eva. Period

There's also a series that Eva was based on, called Ideon; look it up on Google, you'll find MANY similiarities.

Berserk's another great one.

Dark, quite serious, and similar to X the movie?

Seriously check out Petite Cossette. The artwork is freakin' GORGEOUS and the story is creepy. And then there's the recent favorite Elfen Lied which more than just a cute girl slashing guys into a bloody mess; the mysteries in that series is pretty facinating.

Bam! Double that recomendation
Why do people complain about things? Why can't they just be happy that they were made for them?
I respect everyone's right to not like something, but complaining about it will acomplish nothing...

Hellsing is good, but so is Naruto if your into the whole growing up a loner and wanting revenge emotion thing. Then Sasuke is a character for you.
