Hi All,

Glad to hear intrest in our AMV contest. An AMV creators party sounds great, and anyone who is interested in being on any AMV related panels let us know.

For any specific information, feel free to contact our AMV Contest head at amv@connobaka.com. Note: there is a change of address on our site. Any AMVs which are going to be mailed sould be sent to the new address listed. As we've noted though, Providing the AMV via FTP or Web access is just as easy for us.

Well the answer to my first question "will I have a video done in time?" is a resounding YES! so since I'm entering this contest Come hell or High water I'll be there!

I would love to attend a AMV creator Dinner/Party...So I'm definately on board for that too...

I dont know if i want to enter my vid in this contest...just cause i entered it at AN and CN..but i might as well, just having it seen by people is cool.

The vid creator party sounds cool. Id love to go to that!

I know, this is insane, I've been up late (and late to work,lol) every night this week trying to finish my vid. No choice to but send it online tomorrow.

But I've never sent an AMV online before, does anyone know what file size I should encode to. I don't wannt give up any more quality than I have to, but I'm thinking they might not like a 300mb+ file, lol.

Ooo, I wish I knew about Con No Baka sooner. Way too late for me to try and enter now. Oh well, if I can talk someone into driving me down, I'll go and watch all yours! Hope you got them done in time.

Yay, made it in time. I wasn't sure how to submit, so I just used www.yousendit.com. The version I sent was about 100Mb. That should be ok, right? ... Right? O_o

I will have a version ready for upload here within 24 hours ;)

Adding subtitles - more lipsyncing scenes - rotoscoping - fixing up.. - adding more cheesy effects - exporting - encoding - converting to mpeg2 - yousendit - form writing... - submitting!

I guess i can get it done by tomorrow
