o.0 I never said that they couldnt... just said that WMM is simple and good for people who have no clue.
When you enter another editing program, you're basically starting all over.

So if you've achieved a good amount of scene sync skill in wmm you sudenly loose it all when you move onto another program? You idiot.

bum, I swaer you've never taken a damn language arts class in your life. Your grammar and vocabulary are atrocious.

On topic, each program isn't the same. In WMM, I couldn't scroll frame by frame on the timeline as I can in Premiere(which is way easier than WMM). That's assuming you're talking about syncing, and not scene selection. If you are still unaware of what sync is, look no further than here: http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=Sync

kthxbi

funny i could scroll frame by frame 0.o or i could move the video frame by frame, there are buttons under the view screen for that... (hence how I get screen caps)

but when it comes to dropping video and audio on the time line I have found that most video editorers are the same or atleast HIGHLY similar :P the cutting and editing of the video is another subject...

but I have found that for the simplest things, like scene selection (for stuff like lyric sync and phrasing) WMM is an alright program...

but when you want to get into beat sync and other things like effects and such WMM is highly limited.

its a good program to start out on for learning simple things like dropping video on the time line...

it doesnt matter where they start, it doesnt matter if they start out on premeire, if they dont know what they want or what they are looking for, their videos can still suck, but if they have a clear idea of what they want and how to do it, then almost any program can (depending on limitations) make a fairly good AMV.

Fusion Stop arguing about silly things, its not worth it.

Why does wmm suck?
WMV, need I say more.

If you can't afford to buy a cheep copy of Ulead or Magix, you shouldn't be editing. Hell, half the people here act as if they can't afford the DVDs :?

I'm just going to release a whole slue of ASF vids next week. Because I'm an asshole.

I have actually seen a few GOOD amvs from WMM but they didnt use fansubs, and the editorer put ALOT more effort into it thand the good 85% that just drops crap in... to me it depends not on what program it was made in but weather or not the editorer has talant...

I use the .WMV render (in Vegas) because I am still learning how to compress, when I get my compression skills down, then I might try other options, but for now .WMV is my best bet, and is clearest for me...

Thanks for demonstrating you don't know the difference between language arts and literature.
