An anime is useless if it has over 100 episodes? What the hell kinda thinking is that!? One Piece is very good but has some type of repeatition like Inuyasha does. In Naruto and Bleach, they have sagas that continue on the story. Based on what you said, a 700 page book is stupid cause normal books have 200 to 300. All those 700 pages can be great ya know.Mroni wrote:when does it end if it has too many more eps then yes it is just another useless anime like one piece or dbz or inu yasha. anything that goes over 100 eps without plot resolution just drones on.

Re: yea
Yep, the same formula applies to Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Inuyasha.Chocobuddha wrote:Congratulations, you've discovered the formula for shounen anime/manga.claude213 wrote:but this kid ichigo just like goku.
1st hes a nobody but he gets stronger and stronger and if he loses once he wins the 2nd time
u notice that?
I'm ready for them to get out of Soul Society though, it seems as though every episode since they got in is filler for fighting and discussing every intricacy of every character's special moves or powers.
You're lucky... I've decided to let you live to see the day when I will rule the world.

Personally, them being in the Soul Society is my favorite part so far! I really like Yachiru (girl with pink hair), She always makes me laugh. Their time in the Soul Society reminds me of Roman leaders of the olden days, full of deception and back-stabbing. All the characters are so diverse and well portreyed that it really makes it more than sensless fighting and sceaming.
(ie DBZ) Dont get me wrong, i really liked DB but after that the series seemed to lose its touch.

I used to like bleach until the first season ended.
Personally, I found the concept of the shinigami and hollow slaying a great advancement in Shounen animes. I really enjoyed the first season with only one thing that just really bugged me. And that was the way that Inoue and Chad got their powers. (I won't spoil it, but it just ... bugged me you know?)
This new saga with them going to soul society to save Rukia...(hmm saving the girl that is in distress and set for excecution and the others trying to save her.... how many times has that been done exactly?)
Just too much...
Also, the fights are VERY repeditive.First, Ichigo Vs. 3rd officer .... then Ichigo Vs. co-captain.... then Ichigo Vs. captain. I really got bored of the series. However I did like Ishida's fight with the 12th division captain, that was badass.
Anyways, I find the plot to be runny, and the characters less than satisfactory.... They don't really go through near death experiences to get power (For instance, Ichigo's training. I give the creators of the anime props for the near death experience,, but ... training with his sensei that attacks him with intent to kill... once again that is such a common training practice...) In addition, that was all the main party did before they got to soul society, train... instead of nearly dying. (For instance again, in Naruto, when he's training for the finals, does he not risk his life to pull out power?)
As you can see, this is just not good enough in my eyes. The anime had its strong points (mostly in the first saga) but it just falls short at the end.
In my opinion, just an anime that had potential, but went commercial.

Why do people complain about things? Why can't they just be happy that they were made for them?
I respect everyone's right to not like something, but complaining about it will acomplish nothing...

Yeah, that seemed a bit silly, too. At least Chad was strong to begin with.Yoshiyuki Inokuma wrote:And that was the way that Inoue and Chad got their powers. (I won't spoil it, but it just ... bugged me you know?)
Except that there's also the whole conspiracy thing, so you don't know what's really behind the execution, Rukia's past acceptance into that family, Ichimaru, etc... It isn't so straightforward.Yoshiyuki Inokuma wrote:This new saga with them going to soul society to save Rukia...(hmm saving the girl that is in distress and set for excecution and the others trying to save her.... how many times has that been done exactly?)

That's what people hate in Shounens! By what your saying, you totally agree with the formula of Dragonball Z. You want them to fight, get their ass kicked, then somehow go supersaiyan or just get stronger right when they're about to die. That's really stupid.Yoshiyuki Inokuma wrote: Anyways, I find the plot to be runny, and the characters less than satisfactory.... That's the main reason people say Naruto is becoming the next DBZ. Everytime his ass is about to die, he gets stronger outa nowhere. That type of fighting plot sucks ass.

How can Naruto be the next DBZ. How can people think like that I don't enjoy DBZ at all . DBZ is useless fighting. Naruto has a point to the show and has no useless fighting. I mean really.

"That's really stupid?" Why? because its not your opinion? It's a common fact, people get stronger when they are A) Being chased with intent to kill or B) About to die. It's the effect of adreneline in your body. I'm not saying training like they do in Bleach is bad, I'm saying that I've seen TOO much of it.Rurounikeitaro wrote: That's what people hate in Shounens! BTW: I don't want them to fight, get their ass kicked, and then somehow go supersaian. I prefer them to get their ass kicked, get left for dead, find some new power and then come back to completely decimate the person that kicked their ass.
Don't presume you know much about someone, especially over the net.

I rather liked Bleach, but I haven't delved very far into it, since I'm still stuck on Fruits Basket, Inu Yasha (I'm going to finish that come hell or high water), Rurouni Kenshin (even though I own most of the anime anyways, still gonna finish the manga), Samurai Champloo, Naruto (got up to episode 180 or so so far), etc. It really doesn't help that I've started reading a new series called Death Note either...
Dragons can be good or bad. Care to guess which path I follow?
