Tekkaman
I remember back a few years ago there was an anime on UPN called Technoman. I found out later on that it was originally called Tekkaman and also aired in Austrailia.
I have tried to find out if there are any anime DVD's from it, but I have had no luck. The closest thing that I can find is on eBay, and I'm not totally sure that they are in american language or if they are just subtitled.
Is there anyone else out there who has seen this anime and wished that they could own it?

Close, when it aired here in the US, it was actually called Teknoman. It was a remake from the one that you found Valder. I've just been trying to find some english dubbed versions of it so I can start on some other vids.

This one was in the related links on the site I posted....I know I saw it but it was not dubbed. Good animation typical early 90s stuff.

I remember it... way back when there was a thing called UPN Kids.
Tekkaman was originally a 70's hero show with colorful costumes and cliche plots (back before they were cliche). Tekkaman was among the ranks of Gatchaman, Voltron, and others.
Tekkaman Blade was a TV series that ran for 50 some episodes, and was a little bit darker and edgier, but quite cool! It was dubbed and mostly released accurately (as far as I could tell) in the 90's under the name Teknoman.
Tekkaman Blade 2 is the OAV sequel to the TV series, and is more light-hearted, but still features some of the original characters.
So the question now is where to find Teknoman dubbed. Unfortunately, information on that is scarce, and I am uncertain who owns the rights now. What I CAN tell you is that there was never a VHS or DVD release of the show when it came out, so I'm afraid that the dub of the show has been delegated to our memories and memories alone.
It never re-runned, and if you missed an episode, you were crap out of luck.
The only record of it now are home videos sold on eBay or traded at cons, IF that.
Frankly, I myself would like to learn more about what happened to Teknoman. Let's google it and see...
...
CRAP! I did a google and found a fan site with some good information. Unfortunately, I dug up some bad news. Check this site and scroll to the bottom:
http://icefall.org/Teknoman/episodes.htm
At the bottom, it bears the bad news that the rights to Teknoman were bought out by...
SABAN! Which was bought out by Disney, and is the reason Power Rangers and Digimon are on ABC Family, owned by Disney and formerly the Family channel.
If Saban still owns the rights to Tekkaman Blade, AKA Teknoman, then unless Tatsunoko, the Japanese company that owns the rights to the Tekkaman Blade anime, can somehow break the contract, or get Disney to relinquish it so it can be released on VHS or DVD.
There has to be a way to get Tatsunoko to do that! There has to!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why did it have to be Disney! One of these days I'm going to make a fighting game where you can take that mouse eared mascot and beat the living bejesus out of him!
Thanks for finding this out for me guys. I did try googling and everything, but I just couldn't admit my findings. Thanks again.

It's actually not as bad as I thought. Doing a search under Yahoo for Teknoman video clips gave me a site that has all of the episodes of Teknoman. So I can now finish the series!! Yay!!
