Excel Saga question

Post by The Origonal Head Hunter » Sun Nov 06, 2005 4:49 pm

I'm through volume 3 of the manga and considering getting the anime, is it worth it or should I not even waste my time?

It's hard to say in my opinion. The series has some great moments, but a lot of jokes are just.. not funny. If you're happy to sit through 20 minutes of mediocre anime for 10 minutes of entertainment than there's no reason not to watch, but that's just me.

If you like the manga, then yes. By all means, get the anime. It's better to have the manga since many references are made to it, but it is still enjoyable without that aspect.

I have some volumes of the manga and all of the DVDs. In my opinion the TV series is actually better, so I'd say that buying the series is a good idea.

Pedro is by far the funniest character in the series. Most of the good parts I mentioned are about him.

Is that some depth I see?

And I failed gloriously at spoiler guard, as if it actually mattered.
