Seeing how this is derailed far beyond my original paragraphs of pain over Dantes...

...is that just regular coke or... coke coke?
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

It's country coke, methamphetamine, and I'd appreciate you NOT making fun of my addiction.

I'm looking at you, HITLER.

47 posts or something.

I don't know if this falls into your ideal or not, but how about D or his father from Petshop of Horrors? I don't consider his evil, myself, but some people do...(or most people...heh...^_^;).

I agree with some of the things arzuro has to say; I wouldn't mind if some aspects of anime and anime culture were stripped away.

And I don't think anime fans have much of a "geek" image. Hyperactive psychos would be a better description.

Back on subject...

Here's a likeable villian who Is a villian doing evil stuff... Not stuff for a goal like revenge like dantes but you know the whole "Become more powerful for the sake of ruling over others" bit.

Grunide (A Vandel from 'Beet the Vandel Buster')

As to why he is likeable, He try's to keep a lid on his temper, friendly towards the monsters he owns, Has something of a 'sportsmanship' manner in facing his foes and is generally an alright big green guy... until you make him angry, you don't want to see him when he's angry. :D

The anime plays out like a Real life Roleplaying game that unlike .hack//sign has a more upbeat and kid friendly tone... more like .hack//Legend of the twilight.

Why on earth would I want a kid friendly tone?

Kid Buu from DBZ.
He is so cool yet he is so small and evil. Just like hamsters. you like hamsters?
